Abstract
Formation of the multilingualism of education seekers requires the modernization of the language education industry, the active involvement of innovative personal-oriented methods and technologies of language learning, among which the tandem method (from the English tandem - a bicycle for two or three people) occupies a prominent place, which involves autonomous (independent ) learning of another language and culture by two partners with different native languages working in pairs, based on direct immersion in the language during communication.
