Abstract

The integration of natural sciences and engineering and technological disciplines in primary school involves the gradual acquisition by students of key competencies that are the basis for further mastering the subjects of the natural cycle in primary school. Conditions for conducting lessons for the introduction of quarantine, which prevents the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, do not allow for lessons with children in the classroom, and requires the transfer of elements of experimental and research activities, modeling, in a distant format. The experience of those who teach children at home (homeschoolers) is used. They have developed a significant array of research and projects based on the simplest materials and equipment.
