Abstract

In the article the concepts "task", "context task", " competence-oriented task" are specified. Different types of tasks in chemistry (according to the student's activity) are described on the following grounds: the degree of its complexity; character; degree of independence. The structure of the competent-oriented tasks, their types, in particular, VEB-quests, is presented. The importance of inter-subject content of tasks and their ecological orientation is pointed out. Examples of competence-oriented problems in chemistry, integrated with mathematics, physics and biology are given.
