Abstract

We consider the educational sector "Information and Communication Technologies" and its importance and influence on key competencies in the Czech Republic. The skills acquired in the study of information and communication technologies allow students to use computer technology for a wide range of educational programs and information sources in all educational areas of basic education. This knowledge goes beyond the educational content of the information and communication technology and is part of all other educational areas of basic education.
