Abstract

The author of the article defines the priority trends in rhetoric investigations in Ukraine. The researcher considers the results of the round table «Rhetoric in Higher Education: National Traditions, International Experience and the European Guidelines» (Kyiv, June 24, 2014) held in the framework of the 23rd International Scientific Conference «Language and Culture» (Kyiv, June 24–27, 2014); outlines a range of issues for discussion, the participants and the results of the done work. The materials have been prepared by the author to participate in the 19th International Scientific Conference «Rhetoric in the Context of Education and Culture» (Rjazan', January 29–31, 2015).
