Abstract
The article is devoted to development of theoretical and methodological foundations of learning syntax and punctuation Ukrainian language students’ grade 8-9 according to innovative social and educational challenges. We describe the stages of learning syntax and punctuation Ukrainian language at secondary school. Author determined innovative approaches to the formation of syntactic and punctuation competencies students grades 8-9. Concretized linguodidactic principles, forms and methods of teaching syntax and punctuation Ukrainian on the basis of competence, individually oriented and activity approaches. Specifies the meaning of «syntactic competence», «punctuation competence».
