Abstract

The article outlines the general features, characteristics and objectives of open education at the present stage of information society; the content of the concept of cloud technologies as a tool of open educational environment creation and development; the evolution of technological development and characteristics of cloud technologies are presented; the models of cloud services providing are described; the examples of cloud solutions for education from leading corporations are given; the advantages and potential problems of cloud technology using are analyzed; the future prospects of open education components implementation through using innovative technology solutions are defined.
