Abstract

The study aims to determine the basic requirements for software and hardware platform for building educational portals. In one of the most universal definitions, Portal is a secure point of interaction with various information, business processes and people, according to the requirements and responsibilities of each user. Interaction with users is through the web interface. Programming software platform for building and maintaining a system of educational portals is software and hardware that allows you to build and maintain portals for various purposes and architecture and to ensure the implementation of this set of features: support for communications, personalization, profiling, search, security, standard Web access a portal, run applications, the ability collaboration, content management, user management, monitoring and performance management, knowledge management.
