Abstract
The article deals with determination and usage of “multimedia” conception in different scientific and pedagogical research as well as in practice. The result of comparative analysis of native and foreign authors’ publications in the context of the solution of problem of conception determina-tion, which are linked with usage of multimedia technologies in teaching, is presented. Differential characteristics of multimedia device, which can stand out of a pack of other techno-logical tools, are defined. Special attention is given to didactical advantages of teaching aids based on multimedia.
