Abstract
The concept of "andragog" is defined in the article. The andragogical activity content, the essential features of andragogical training, its purpose (creation certain conditions for the realization of specific professional groups needs) and result (readiness to andragogical activity) are revealed. The interconnected and interdependent leading roles of adult teacher (teacher, guide, facilitator, coach) are presented. The competencies (methodological, andragogical, subject and methodological, personal and communicational) necessary for the fulfilling of these roles are justified.
