Abstract
The theses explore the role of digital technologies as an important tool for ensuring accessibility and quality education for students with special educational needs (SEN). Modern approaches to the use of digital tools for supporting writing, reading, mathematics, and spelling are analyzed. These technologies help overcome learning barriers, individualize the educational process, and enhance students’ motivation. The study demonstrates that digital technologies perform not only a compensatory but also a humanizing function by creating conditions for the equal participation of learners with SEN and enabling them to realize their full potential. The advantages of implementing digital tools are identified, including improved accessibility, the development of independence, the formation of life competencies, and enhanced social integration. At the same time, the main challenges of their application in Ukraine are outlined, such as insufficient digital infrastructure, limited funding, a shortage of adapted Ukrainian-language resources, the need for teacher training, and ethical considerations. Promising directions for the development of inclusive education include the integration of artificial intelligence, the implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), the expansion of mobile and cloud-based services, the development of Ukrainian-language digital resources, and the use of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies.
