Abstract

This publication has been prepared by the team of authors of the Department of Digital Transformation of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. It introduces readers to the main research findings obtained in 2026 within the framework of the research project “Organisational and Technological Foundations for the Development of Web-Oriented Encyclopedic Resources in Education” (State Registration No. 0126U000508). The publication presents reference materials on the history, specific features, purpose, and technological foundations of the web-oriented encyclopedic resource *Ukrainian Electronic Encyclopedia of Education*. It describes the roles and responsibilities of the resource’s moderators, editors, and administrators. The publication also provides useful guidance for users of the electronic encyclopedia, outlines the characteristics of different types of encyclopedic articles, and explains how to search for information effectively on the website and create collections. In addition, it offers practical recommendations and training programmes to prepare editors for adding articles, as well as information about the encyclopedia’s team of authors. This collective work is intended for researchers, academic and teaching staff, postgraduate students, doctoral students, library professionals, and a broad readership interested in using the web-oriented encyclopedic resource "Ukrainian Electronic Encyclopedia of Education".
