Abstract

The "Regulation on Academic Integrity at the Bila Tserkva Institute of Continuing Professional Education" defines the principles and values ​​of academic integrity, the fundamental requirements for adhering to academic integrity standards by participants in educational and scientific processes, and the mechanisms for ensuring such integrity, preventing violations, responding to violations, and establishing liability for misconduct during learning, teaching, and the conduct of educational, methodological, scientific, creative, and other activities. The purpose of this Regulation is to foster and uphold a culture of academic integrity within the Institute; to ensure adherence to its principles and values ​​by higher education students, teaching and research-teaching staff, professional development course participants, and other participants in educational and scientific processes; and to prevent instances of academic dishonesty while ensuring an appropriate response to violations. The Regulation aims to create an academic environment grounded in honesty, trust, fairness, mutual respect, responsibility, equality, and tolerance; to establish integrity as an integral component of educational, scientific, and professional activities; and to ensure that due regard is paid to the outcomes of learning, scientific research, and methodological and creative work. The provisions of this Regulation apply to teaching and research-teaching staff, higher education students, professional development course participants, and other participants in the educational process, as well as to individuals involved in the scientific, methodological, creative, and other activities of the Institute. This Regulation is an integral part of the Institute’s internal education quality assurance system and is aimed at fostering and developing academic culture, ensuring the quality of educational and research activities, upholding high standards of professional ethics, enhancing the Institute’s competitiveness, and strengthening its positive reputation within the Ukrainian and international educational and scientific spheres.
