Abstract

Self-assessment of abilities is viewed as the foundation of self-esteem among gifted high school students. This study analyzes the impact of assertive interaction on the development of self-assessment at three levels: based on external evaluations, based on formative assessments, and based on the gifted high school students’ own evaluative constructs and criteria.
