Abstract
The rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies is causing significant changes in modern education, affecting both the content of education and the nature of the teacher's pedagogical activity. The introduction of AI into the educational process opens up new opportunities for automating routine tasks, personalizing learning, creating adaptive educational environments, supporting formative assessment, and developing digital competencies of students and teachers. At the same time, the use of such technologies is accompanied by new challenges related to academic integrity, personal data protection, ethical boundaries of the use of digital tools, the professional readiness of teachers to work in conditions of technological change, and the need to develop effective mechanisms for pedagogically balanced use of AI. In this context, the study of foreign experience of countries that have already moved from the stage of fragmentary use of artificial intelligence in education to its more systematic implementation is of particular relevance. One such country is Lithuania, where the use of AI in teachers' pedagogical activities is gradually becoming an institutionalized practice.
