Abstract

The crisis conditions of modern times (armed conflicts, pandemics, natural and man-made disasters) are considered, which pose unprecedented challenges to education systems, requiring a rethinking of established approaches to the organization of the educational process. In conditions where physical infrastructure is destroyed and social stability is disrupted, it is educational innovations that become a key mechanism for ensuring the continuity of learning and preserving the human capital of the nation. It is emphasized that the digital transformation of education has gained momentum in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and continued in wartime conditions. Distance learning platforms (Moodle, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams), massive open online courses (MOOCs) and digital educational repositories have provided access to education even in conditions of forced displacement. Reorienting the content of education in crisis conditions requires a rapid revision of curricula to include the competencies of crisis resilience, media literacy, critical thinking and safety culture.
