Abstract

This paper identifies strategic guidelines and practical principles for the integration of artificial intelligence into the general secondary education system in the European Union and Ukraine. It examines the evolution of the regulatory framework for AI, in particular the European Union’s AI Act (EU AI Act), and analyses the experience of digitising education in leading EU countries. Three key vectors for the modernisation of the Ukrainian school system are substantiated: regulatory, infrastructural and methodological. It is concluded that the effective implementation of AI in the Ukrainian educational sector requires systematic harmonisation with European standards, adherence to ethical responsibilities and the development of digital competence among teachers.
