Abstract
The methodological recommendations justify that the development of assertiveness in the educational space is an important condition for the preservation of value autonomy and self-development orientation by gifted high school students and students in a difficult life situation that arose as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The methodological recommendations are addressed to lecturers of higher education institutions, psychologists, heads of educational institutions, teachers, postgraduate students, and students.
