Abstract
This publication examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of the relationship between FAIR and soft skills. FAIR creates the necessary transparent environment in which creativity becomes more visible and reproducible. When primary data and materials are organized according to the principles of discoverability and interoperability, researchers and students are freed from routine searching and reformatting and can focus on substantive creative work. Thus, FAIR does not hinder the development of soft skills but rather creates the conditions for their formation. Consequently, the FAIR principles can and should become part of the theoretical framework of modern soft skills pedagogy, and their implementation should be one of the avenues for improving the quality of professional training in response to the challenges of the digital economy and open science.
