Abstract
The concept of open education today has ceased to be a purely pedagogical term and has turned into a fundamentally global requirement and need of the time, which is characterized by dynamism and crisis challenges. Thus, open education is not just “online education”, it is a change in the philosophy of education, a new educational paradigm, where flexibility, accessibility, adaptability, technologicality, inclusiveness become the main criteria for effectiveness. In the conditions of modern political, economic, social instability, openness becomes the only mechanism that guarantees the continuity of the educational process.
