Abstract

The article examines the "Build Back Better" (BBB) concept for Ukraine’s post-war recovery and its core principles, identifying key shifts for the construction sector within this framework. The main directions for transforming vocational training in the construction industry are outlined. The primary risks and challenges in workforce training, adapted to Ukraine’s current realities, are systematized. The author’s vision for overcoming these educational challenges in the construction sector is proposed. The study justifies the expediency of integrating VR and AR technologies into construction training to address the main educational hurdle during wartime: minimizing physical risk while maximizing practical experience. A step-by-step sequence for their integration into professional education is suggested. Furthermore, the paper provides an overview of specific products and companies specializing in VR/AR solutions for the construction industry and vocational education, including numerous Ukrainian providers.
