Abstract
In the educational and informational monitoring of the mass media, `Information Review of the Mass Media Sector on the Development of Open Education and Science` for the first half of 2026, which contains structured informational and analytical data, presents the results of research studies in the mass media sphere on the development of open education and science, as published by the Ukrainian media. The context consists of an examination of primary media sources and a content analysis of these sources, conducted through monitoring of current issues and general trends in the development of open education and science. This resource was compiled using data from official portals, websites of state executive bodies, official government news portals, and other sources. The overview is designed to help users quickly access information on how educational topics are covered in the media without having to read the full texts of the articles. This review is part of the online resource “Information and Analytical Hub of the V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine” (Information and Analytical Resources. Educational and Information Monitoring of Mass Media), integrated with the portal of the V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine, which was created and operates to fulfill the tasks of planned scientific research by the Department of Scientific Information and Analytical Support for Education, specifically on the topic “Scientific and Analytical Support for the Development of a Unified Information Space for Open Education” (2026–2028, principal investigator M.L.Rostoka).
