Abstract
The study aimed to find out how HEI teachers assess the quality of Gemini's responses to different types of prompts in the areas of learning, pedagogy, communication, lesson planning, professional development, research and creative tasks. The study, conducted on the basis of a survey of teachers, helps to understand the real capabilities of Gemini for various tasks that teachers perform in their professional activities. As a result, it was found that teachers positively assess it as a "digital mentor" that provides clear and practical advice. Gemini demonstrates limited reliability when performing scientific search tasks. In creative tasks, Gemini demonstrates some potential, but the quality of the results is perceived unevenly, as it depends on the personal preferences of the evaluator. Gemini demonstrates extremely high reliability in solving fundamental mathematical problems. The results of the evaluation of Gemini-generated images show that it coped best with creating images with specific requirements, while tasks with more abstract and less detailed prompts demonstrated significantly lower quality. This requires further research and testing of the effectiveness of different prompts for using Gemini to generate images.
