Abstract
The article provides a theoretical analysis of the war-related traumatic impact on children and adolescents in the context of the digitalization of the information environment. Particular attention is paid to the phenomenon of media traumatization as a specific form of indirect psychological trauma caused by systematic exposure to war-related media content. The paper reviews contemporary scientific approaches to understanding the psychological consequences of children’s and adolescents’ interaction with media representations of war, outlines age-related factors of vulnerability to traumatic content, and highlights the role of family and educational environments in mitigating its negative effects. The necessity of further empirical research on media traumatization is substantiated, including the development of psychodiagnostic tools for its assessment and preventive and corrective programs aimed at fostering students’ strengthening psychological resilience under conditions of prolonged war.
