Abstract

This article presents the results of a survey of parents (5,224 respondents) as participants in the educational process regarding the use of the information and digital environment at the general secondary school where their child is enrolled. The purpose of the study is to determine parents’ readiness to use the information and digital environment of the educational institution where their child studies; the needs and challenges parents face when using the environment; to ascertain parents’ assessment of their child’s self-directed learning skills during distance education; and to determine the level of material and technical support available in the family regarding devices for the child’s distance learning.
