Abstract
In the fourth year of the war of aggression launched by the russian federation, the scientific, scientific and technical (experimental), scientific and organisational, expert and educational activities of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine in 2025 were aimed at systematic scientific and methodological solution of educational, pedagogical and psychological problems of social development, implementation of the priorities of the state educational and scientific policy, improvement of scientific potential in the field of education, pedagogy and psychology, strengthening its influence on ensuring the resilience of Ukrainian society under martial law and post-war recovery of the country, taking into account the tasks of European integration. The NAES of Ukraine ensured systematic participation in the substantiation, development and implementation of new-generation educational and scientific legislation. This included adapting the national educational and scientific sphere to EU standards in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, other government bodies, the National and national branch academies of sciences, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine regarding the European integration of education and science, and other organisations. Maximum effort was dedicated to developing innovation-oriented individuals, fostering competitive human potential, strengthening the unity of the Ukrainian nation, and ensuring civic and national-patriotic upbringing through education and science. The report outlines the fulfilment of the statutory tasks of the NAES of Ukraine and its development strategy, the work of general meetings, methodological seminars, and the Presidium of the NAES of Ukraine, alongside an analysis of the human resources potential of its institutions. It highlights the most significant scientific achievements of the Academy's scholars, research institutions, and university. Furthermore, it presents the impact of the NAES of Ukraine’s activities on economic development, enhancing the country's defence and security, health and quality of life, the advancement of cutting-edge science, education, the social sphere, culture, environmental preservation, and the formulation of state policy. Experimental, publishing, organisational, expert, educational, international, and scientific-information activities are detailed, as well as cooperation with state authorities and scientific organisations, the publication activity of scientists within the global system of scientific communication, and the Academy's financial provision. The material is intended for researchers, educators, managers, and all those involved in the functioning and development of education, its scientific, methodological, expert, and advisory support, as well as those conducting scientific research and experimental development in the fields of education, pedagogy, and psychology.
