Abstract

The need for modernization of professional training of future specialists in the construction industry based on the concept of education for sustainable development is substantiated. The author analyzes the challenges of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and proves that overcoming "professional isolation" is possible through the implementation of interdisciplinary educational models and integrated design. Special attention is paid to the experience of European projects in the formation of systemic competencies necessary for the construction of buildings with almost zero energy consumption. It is determined that practice-oriented training and team interaction are key conditions for ensuring the environmental and economic sustainability of the construction sector.
