Abstract
The article presents theoretical and practical foundations of teachers’ professional transformation as a key concept of modern professional development in the context of open education. It analyzes the concepts of professional transformation, professionalism, and identity, and outlines andragogical approaches to supporting educators in times of change. The role of open educational space in the actualization of teacher identity and professional subjectivity is emphasized. The findings are based on the author's theoretical and empirical research.
