Abstract
The content of the educational material covers topics that present Ukrainian sign language from different points of view (parts of speech, study of types, genres of texts, organization of communication, grammatical discourse, features of syntax, specifics of kinetics, structure of a sign unit, semantic meaning, functioning of individual speech) and is distributed in content competence lines with: indicative types of educational activities that a sign language teacher can use when planning a lesson, expected learning outcomes - the formation of necessary competencies in students that meet the requirements of the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education, areas of compensatory and developmental work that orient the teacher to the specifics of work for the effective formation of the linguistic personality of a student with hearing impairments, which will contribute to better socialization of students. The features of the content of the educational material are reflected in the authors' intentions to provide knowledge with functionality, and the process of its assimilation with motivation, establishing close links between the results of learning and independent learning.
