Abstract
The working curriculum of the elective academic discipline “Artificial Intelligence in Education” for students of the second-cycle (Master’s) level of higher education for the 2025/26 academic year defines the place of the discipline within the system of professional training of specialists. The working curriculum outlines the purpose and objectives of the course, as well as its role and significance in ensuring that higher education students acquire the necessary system of knowledge and skills. The curriculum includes eight topics: the essence, history of development, and role of artificial intelligence; prompt engineering and effective interaction with AI models; the current state of AI technology development in Ukraine; the potential of AI in the educational process; AI tools in education; opportunities of AI for research; educational analytics and personalization of learning using AI; academic integrity and the future of science in the context of AI development. Each topic includes the content of lectures and seminar classes. Tasks for independent study are also provided. The course workload is 120 hours, equivalent to 4.0 ECTS credits. The form of final assessment is a pass/fail credit.
