Abstract

The relevance of the problem of updating the content of Ukrainian language education in grades 7–9 is determined by a set of interrelated sociocultural, psychological-pedagogical, didactic-methodological, and linguistic factors. These factors necessitate a systematic revision of the content of Ukrainian language instruction at the basic secondary school level in order to ensure the formation of students’ value-based worldview foundations, key competencies, cross-cutting skills, and abilities that are not susceptible to artificial intelligence, and that are adequate to the challenges of the twenty-first century.
