Abstract
The article addresses a critical socio-psychological issue: the substantiation of interactive models as determinants and mechanisms for developing the civic identity of youth within the liminal conditions of Ukraine's de-occupied territories. It is demonstrated that within the coordinates of post-conflict transformation, this threshold state of personality requires specific attention, as civic identity emerges not merely as a legal-political category but as a complex interactive construct. This construct serves as a primary psychological regulator of social behavior and strategies for socio-psychological resilience. The study substantiates that the current situation in de-occupied territories necessitates more than just the diagnostic of identity diffusion; it requires the validation of interactive models as instruments of socio-psychological intervention, capable of ensuring identity stability through an individual's active, multi-level interaction with the social environment. The research transitions from descriptive problem-stating to theoretical reflection on the nature of citizenship through the lenses of etatist, liberal, and deliberative concepts. The traditional educational paradigm regarding the linear formation of identity via knowledge transmission is revised. Instead, it is proven that this process is characterized by an iterative and interactive dynamic of accepting and revising identity commitments and the internal internalization of social norms through dialogue. Through a comprehensive integration of theoretical and methodological approaches, analysis of scientific data, and the structuring of social influences, an original typology of interactive models is developed, spanning four levels of social influence (micro-, meso-, exo-, and macro-levels). It is proven that civic subjectivity is actualized only within the space of subject-to-subject interaction. Therefore, the deliberative model, based on mechanisms of group discussion and active social engagement, is identified as fundamental for forming civic agency at the micro- and meso-levels. Simultaneously, the liberal model at the exo-level acts as an interactive safeguard against destructive social influences, while the etatist model at the macro-level provides a security framework and cohesion. The study proposes an original interpretation of the "civic imperative" as a foundational principle for realizing the state-building potential of youth, where efficiency is determined by the individual’s readiness for the interactive externalization of civic attitudes. Within this holistic architecture, it is asserted that viable identity emerges as a result of the synergy of these models, harmonizing the individual need for autonomy with group inclusion and national solidarity. It is concluded that the development of civic identity among youth in de-occupied territories is a process of continuous socio-psychological relationship modeling, where the level of civic reflection serves as an objective marker for the success of reintegration processes and the overall viability of the state.
