Abstract
The electronic learning course “Mobile, Digital, and AI Tools in Organizing the Educational Process in Vocational Education Institutions” is aimed at developing competencies among pedagogical staff of vocational education institutions (VEIs) in the use of modern mobile applications, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence tools to create an effective, interactive, and personalized educational environment. The course has been adapted to the realities of 2026, taking into account: the new Law of Ukraine “On Vocational Education” dated 21 August 2025 No. 4574-IX (effective from 12 September 2025); the requirements of educational digital transformation (Concept of Digital Transformation of Education of Ukraine until 2030); the active implementation of AI technologies (Gemini, NotebookLM, ChatGPT, Grok, etc.); and the need to combine face-to-face, blended, and distance learning in the context of post-war recovery. Course participants will systematically become familiar with: mobile and web applications for everyday life and learning (Kahoot, Gimkit, Google Workspace, Notion, Canva, CapCut, etc.); AI tools for content generation, lesson planning, and the creation of interactive learning materials (Gemini, NotebookLM, ChatGPT, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Descript); methodologies for integrating these tools into vocational training across various professions (construction, culinary arts, nail design, electrical installation works, etc.); and practical case studies of implementation within educational and methodological materials (EMMs) and the real educational process of VEIs. Special attention is paid to: the creation of instructions, manuals, tests, video lessons, and interactive tasks using AI; increasing learner motivation through gamification (Kahoot, Gimkit); planning daily, financial, health-preserving, and professional tasks using mobile applications; the ethical use of AI in education; and the protection of learners’ data. The course consists of four main modules and is designed for 8 hours of classroom-based and independent work. It supports VEI educators in becoming more competitive in the digital age, effectively combining traditional and innovative teaching methods, and preparing highly competitive specialists for the Ukrainian labor market.
