The article reveals the role of artificial intelligence as a key factor in the transformation of the vocational education system in the digital economy. It analyses the main areas of application of AI tools, in particular the analysis and forecasting of the development of competencies of students, the introduction of adaptive learning platforms, automated assessment systems, virtual assistants and chatbots. The potential of AI to ensure personalised learning, the formation of individual educational trajectories, the improvement of the effectiveness of learning material assimilation, and the alignment of educational programmes with the current needs of the labour market is substantiated.
