Abstract

The work program of the academic discipline "Introduction to the profession" is compiled in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and professional program "Psychology" of the specialty 053 Psychology of the field of knowledge 05 Social and behavioral sciences. The purpose of studying the academic discipline is to familiarize undergraduates with the main branches of psychology, the features of the chosen profession, types of psychological assistance to a person, the formation of a holistic, adequate, meaningful image of the profession of a psychologist and scientific ideas about the specifics of professional activity; development of basic approaches to improving the system of forming psychological readiness of undergraduates for their future profession.
