Abstract

The theses examine competitive programming as an effective tool for training future programmers. Its impact on the development of algorithmic, logical, and creative thinking, the ability to work under time constraints, and the skills of identifying and correcting errors in code is demonstrated. Emphasis is placed on the role of programming olympiads in shaping professional and personal qualities, preparing highly qualified IT specialists, fostering the development of the IT sector, and highlighting the need for state support of such competitions.
