Abstract

According to the conducted analysis, war, socioeconomic constraints, and gender inequality remain defining elements of the lived experience of young people in Ukraine and constitute key factors shaping unequal access to education, employment, civic participation, and essential resources. A meta-analysis of studies published between 2020 and 2025 indicates that, despite demonstrating high levels of resilience, a strong willingness to contribute to national recovery, and a commitment to equal opportunities, Ukrainian youth continue to face everyday realities shaped by structural, cultural, and regional barriers rooted in traditional gender norms, social inequality, and limited institutional trust.
