Abstract

The scientific and methodological manual "Methodology and Methods of Scientific Research" was created with the aim of forming the ability of a higher education applicant to solve complex problems on the methodology of scientific and pedagogical research, which involves rethinking existing and creating new holistic knowledge of conducting scientific and pedagogical research and presenting its results; providing in-depth theoretical and technological training of students to write scientific and research papers, taking into account modern requirements for the level and quality of scientific research, stages of organizing and conducting scientific research in the field of education and its structure. The publication introduces education applicants to modern methodological concepts, the foundations of the methodology of scientific knowledge and the methodology of organizing scientific research; forms a holistic understanding of the scientific and research process; forms the skills to plan, implement and adjust the sequential process of scientific and pedagogical research with logical adherence to relevant scientific approaches; promotes the acquisition by students of knowledge and skills necessary for solving tasks related to planning and conducting scientific research and implementing their results; improves skills in searching, selecting and processing scientific information, accurately formulating the goal, objectives and conclusions of the study. The publication is addressed to a wide range of young researchers working in education: students during the preparation and writing of course and qualification papers, postgraduate and doctoral students - in the process of conducting dissertation research. The textbook is addressed to masters, researchers, postgraduate students, teachers-practitioners engaged in pedagogical research. The results of the scientific search were obtained in accordance with the comprehensive topic of the research of the Bila Tserkva Institute of Continuing Professional Education "Qualification gap in the labor market in conditions of war and post-war economic recovery of Ukraine" (0124U001101, 2024).
