Abstract

Key vectors for the development of the digital educational environment of vocational (professional and technical) education institutions are revealed in the context of societal digital transformation. The essence of education digitalization is analyzed as a комплекс process of updating the educational environment, content, forms, and teaching methods, as well as fostering digital and information competence of teachers and learners. The main challenges of implementing digital technologies in vocational education institutions are outlined, including digital inequality, insufficient methodological readiness of teaching staff, and risks of dehumanization of the educational process. The necessity of systematic professional development of educators in the use of digital technologies is substantiated, and promising directions for shaping a modern digital educational environment in vocational education are identified.
