Abstract

The manual "Scientific Education: Retrospective, Present, and Perspective" comprehensively examines the evolution and current state of scientific education worldwide and in Ukraine. The publication covers historical and philosophical origins, classical and modern educational paradigms, and a comparative analysis of European and Anglophone traditions and experiences. Particular attention is paid to the Ukrainian context: the regulatory framework, key institutions, and digital transformation. Separate chapters are devoted to the "Nature of Science (NOS)" concept, the prospects for education in the age of artificial intelligence development, the role of science in sustainable development, and the future of scientific education in the context of global challenges and the military threat. The manual is addressed to educators and leaders of specialized scientific educational institutions and other forms of education, as well as students of pedagogical specialties who are preparing for professional activities.
