Abstract

The textbook provides a systematic overview of modern methods and technologies in artificial and computational intelligence, with a focus on their practical applications in various areas of human activity. It outlines the specific features of each fi eld and high lights their differences in problem-solving approaches, making them complementary. Special attention is given to a detailed analysis of neural networks, including their architectures, training algorithms, and key theoretical aspects, supported by practical examples. The textbook also covers fuzzy logic methods and neural networks based on them, which are used effectively for forecasting and analyzing the behavior of complex systems. Additionally, it examines advancements in natural language processing and the evolution of this fi eld from the 1960s to the present day. Th e textbook is intended for a wide range of students, postgraduates, and professionals who study and apply artificial intelligence in their professional activities
