Abstract

This report, presented at the General Meeting of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine on November 21, 2025, examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the modern education system amid global digital transformation. The author analyzes global and national trends, legal frameworks, and strategic initiatives related to the responsible use of AI in education. Particular emphasis is placed on the role of NAES institutions in supporting pedagogical adaptation to AI technologies. A core section presents findings from a large-scale survey of teachers, students, lecturers, and educational managers. The results indicate a high level of awareness and a predominantly positive attitude toward AI, with respondents highlighting the need for methodological and technical support. Major concerns include academic integrity, ethical risks, trust in AI-generated content, and insufficient digital competence among educators. The report outlines future priorities: personalized learning, adaptive pathways, generative tools, and inclusive technologies. It emphasizes the need to improve AI literacy, develop instructional resources, update assessment methods, and build regulatory frameworks. The document provides a scientific foundation for ongoing research and the development of educational policies in the era of AI.
