Abstract
The article raises topical issues of professional communication of a modern teacher for successful mutual understanding with students during the educational process. This is undoubtedly timely and is due to the fact that in today's conditions, communication is especially important, since it underlies the activities of educational institutions of all levels of accreditation. In the context of communicative issues of domestic education, the importance of the formation and development of the teacher's linguistic personality, his own professional communicative competence, and the culture of communication in professional pedagogical activity is substantiated. The essence and features of communication are determined, the necessary knowledge of the theory of speech activity, orientation in interpersonal interaction, the correct choice of language tools to ensure the effective implementation of one's own expression. The features and structure of speech communication, which is available in oral and written form in three types according to the number of communication participants, are characterized, the communicative culture of the teacher is the knowledge of various alternatives, certain forms of behavior in the process of communication, the choice of one of the forms of behavior that is most adequate for a given specific communication situation. It has been proven that communicative competence in the professional activity of a teacher is a developed and developed ability of a person to establish and maintain the necessary contacts with students and in social communication. This is the presence of a set of knowledge, skills and abilities to use verbal and non-verbal means for adequate perception and reflection of reality in various communicative situations, which plays an important role for successful communication in the professional activity of a teacher.
