Abstract

Theses theses describe psychological features of resilience formation in parents of children with special educational needs. Resilience is considered as a dynamic ability of an adult to adapt to prolonged stressful influences, while maintaining efficiency, integrity and self-esteem. It is shown that parents of children with special educational needs are in a situation of increased psychological stress, which requires significant mobilization of resources and rethinking of personal and family values. The key internal processes and adaptive skills that underlie resilience are revealed.
