Abstract
The article provides a theoretical justification of the content aspect of learning with the use of immersive technologies (virtual, augmented, and mixed reality) in general secondary education institutions. The relevance of the study is prompted by the need to adapt educational content to new forms of presenting learning material, implemented through the immersive environment. It is determined that the effectiveness of the immersive learning environment depends not only on technological tools but primarily on content, which must be pedagogically appropriate, interactive, personalized, and aimed at developing the key competencies of graduates of the New Ukrainian School, such as critical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to self-learn. It should be noted that the content component of the methodological learning system is interconnected with the immersive learning technology, which represents a pedagogical technology involving the purposeful integration of immersive digital technologies into the learning process in order to create an immersive environment. It includes a set of didactically justified methods, forms of organization, approaches and means of learning aimed at stimulating cognitive activity, forming subjective learning experience, and developing students’ intellectual and creative abilities. The paper substantiates the principles for forming the content component of immersive learning: competency orientation, experiential learning, visualization, adaptability, interactivity, and integration. The proposed content structure includes contextual, informational-analytical, activity-oriented, and reflective blocks, which ensure the sequential immersion of students in learning activities and contribute to the development of key competencies. The stages of organizing the learning process using immersive technologies are outlined, including motivation, initial content immersion, deepening knowledge through modeling and application, as well as feedback and self-reflection. The article emphasizes that the content component of learning based on immersive technologies is a holistic foundation for achieving the goals of modern education in the context of digital transformation.
