Abstract
The basic dimension of work is expressed not only in the fact that man is the subject of work, but above all in the fact that man fulfills himself through work. Our personality is manifested at work, and through work this personality is complemented and perfected. Education through work and for work is a long-term and complex process, starting from the youngest years, the main purpose of which is to create in the person’s consciousness a sense of obligation to participate in the social process of work. Adequate physical and mental preparation, as well as basic moral and practical skills and organizational are a prerequisite for continued effective and organized work. This article illustrates the importance of work for the formation of human personality and indicates postulates aimed at improving the educational situation in the area of practical activity and apprenticeships of pupils and students.
