Abstract

The manual systematizes modern approaches to psychological diagnosis and promotion of post-traumatic growth of military personnel and veterans who have suffered psychological trauma as a result of hostilities. Practical methods, techniques and exercises are presented that can be integrated into psychological rehabilitation and recovery programs. Particular attention is paid to evidence-based models of phased psychological assistance aimed at developing internal resources and personal growth after a traumatic experience. A separate section presents psychodiagnostic tools that allow for a quick assessment of the mental and emotional state of military personnel both during individual and group work. Most of them have an express format that ensures effective use in conditions of limited time. The manual is addressed to military psychologists, social workers, specialists in auxiliary professions and volunteers, all who provide psychological and psychosocial assistance to military personnel and veterans in the process of their recovery and rehabilitation.
