Abstract
The collection includes materials from the IIІ All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation ‘Personal Growth in Wartime: Military and Civilian Experiences’ (Kyiv, 6-7 November 2025). The scientific and practical conference discussed the following main issues: the peculiarities of personal growth in wartime; the peculiarities of rehabilitation activities with military personnel who have participated in combat operations and those groups of the civilian population who need such rehabilitation; problems in organising the process of comprehensive rehabilitation in Ukraine; aspects of psychological assistance to individuals during wartime; self-development and self-realisation of individuals in the process of modern life. Recommendations for the implementation of the results of the second All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference with international participation are to raise awareness among scientists, teachers and postgraduate students about the consequences and prospects for the development of individuals and various population groups during wartime and the possibilities for the practical application of achievements in general psychology, personality psychology, history of psychology, etc. in the modern conditions of education and science. Methodological recommendations are proposed for specialists in social structures on optimising rehabilitation activities with servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who participated in combat operations and those groups of the civilian population who need such rehabilitation. The recommendations provide for familiarising specialists from the multidisciplinary team with the comprehensive rehabilitation process system and the corresponding distribution of functional responsibilities; familiarising psychologists/military psychologists and social workers with selected diagnostic tools for identifying problems and determining the level of rehabilitation of military personnel who have participated in military operations; familiarising multidisciplinary team specialists with innovative rehabilitation technologies, methods and techniques; preparing family members for the return of demobilised military personnel from the war zone, etc.
