Abstract
The article presents the main directions of improving the content of education for children with intellectual disabilities. The author presents educational and methodological support as an important component of the effective implementation of the educational process in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School. Attention is focused on the feasibility of using variable forms of learning in the conditions of martial law in the country, the widespread use of information and communication technologies in the distance learning format, the use of special correctional methods and techniques to support the cognitive activity of children with special educational needs. New manuals developed in accordance with model curricula for teaching students with intellectual disabilities are presented.
