Abstract
The monograph highlights the problems of the formation and development of the personality of preschool children in conditions of visual deprivation, determines the nature of deprivation, factors and factors of its occurrence, characterizes its phenomenology, reveals the features of biogenic deprivation and deprivation impact on the development of the child's personality and its socio-psychological adaptation to new living conditions. Much attention is paid to familiarizing readers with the features of the functioning of the personality of a preschool child in conditions of visual deprivation at the mental and social levels. The monograph also reflects various scientific approaches to determining ways to optimize the personal development of preschoolers with visual impairments, their positive functioning. The monograph can be useful to scientists and postgraduate students, teachers and students of pedagogical colleges and universities, psychologists, teachers of general and special preschool institutions.
